Medical funding for Cole Mulholland

Cole is 7 years old and has been diagnosed with Mitochondrial disease. Along with that diagnosis Cole also has Ehlers Danlos, Factor v Leiden and Amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome also known as AMPS. All which are rare and non curable. Cole has been in and out of the hospital since birth. Cole has had a stroke at age 4 and several mini strokes after that. His health recently has been in a down hill spiral. He has been hospitalized 9 times since September 28th 2015. Which are more then week long stays at a time. Due to all these admissions I had to leave my job to care for Cole. He was pulled from school due to his health. Right now the mitochondrial has shut down his GI track. And he has to be admitted ever couple of weeks to have his colon cleaned out via an NG tube. When Cole is not inpatient we are at the hospital 2-3 times a week for him to receive intense medical treatments. Coles medication and treatments he receives are for a quality-of-life not quantity.

As of right now with us going down to being a one income family to support a family of five we are struggling immensely. We are on the verge of losing our house and our car that is our main source of transportation for cole to go back-and-forth to the hospital. We find ourselves having to pick and choose what bills we can pay so we can afford the needs of Cole. We are a military family with my husband who is a Marine veteran with completing four tours to Iraq. Andnow our oldest child Nicole joined the Army National Guard to try to help us out.
