Ik vind het ontzettend spannend om dit te doen en eigenlijk vraag ik liever niet om hulp, maar ik zie geen andere uitweg voor iets waar ik al 32 jaar over droom. Ik ga het daarom gewoon proberen: elke bijdrage is mooi meegenomen en brengt mij een stap dichterbij.

Al 32 jaar leef ik met microtie aan mijn linkeroor, waardoor ik aan deze kant volledig doof ben. Dagelijks heb ik last van chronische ontstekingen rondom mijn huidige gehoortoestel. Juist door die ontstekingen kan ik het toestel niet dragen, waardoor ik in een cirkel van stilte en ongemak zit.

Na een leven lang wachten op de juiste methode is er nu een oplossing: een unieke operatie in de VS door Dr. Reinisch. Deze techniek herstelt niet alleen mijn oorschelp, maar geeft mij mijn gehoor terug via een nieuw magnetisch systeem en stopt de ontstekingen definitief.
