AKTION PAMELA - EIN LEBEN OHNE CHRONISCHE SCHMERZEN
Pamela Muñoz ist eine junge Frau im Alter von 39 Jahren: Mutter von 2 Kindern, herzensgute Freundin, leidenschaftliche Sängerin und Friseurin voller Leben und Lebensfreude. Seit 2016 hat sie täglich mit Schmerzen zu kämpfen.
Sie leidet an einer sehr seltenen, unheilbaren Krankheit. Sie ist die einzige Person in Chile und eine von sechs Patienten weltweit, bei denen diese Krankheit diagnostiziert wurde.
Zu den Folgen dieser Krankheit zählen ständige chronische neuropathische Schmerzen im gesamten Körper sowie ein fortschreitender Verlust der Beweglichkeit in den Beinen, der auf eine venöse Fehlbildung im Rückenmark zurückzuführen ist (Myelopathie aufgrund kapillarer venöser Teleangiektasien). Die Schmerzen sind unerträglich geworden und werden mit Morphinpflastern behandelt, die jedoch keine Wirkung mehr zeigen. Pamelas körperlicher Zustand verschlechtert sich von Tag zu Tag, und es ist für sie eine Tortur, in diesem Zustand weiterzuleben.
Ihre Krankheit kann nicht geheilt werden, aber ihre chronischen Schmerzen schon. Sie ist Kandidatin für eine teure Operation, bei der ihr ein Neurostimulations-Kit der Firma Medtronic ins Rückenmark implantiert wird.
Leider deckt das Gesundheitssystem in Chile diese Operation nicht ab, sodass sie die finanziellen Mittel privat aufbringen muss. Ansonsten kann die Operation nicht durchgeführt werden.
Unser Ziel ist es, mit dieser Aktion 50 Millionen chilenische Pesos (umgerechnet zwischen 50.000 - 56.000 Euro, etwa 62.000 USD) zu sammeln, um die Kosten für die Operation, den Krankenhausaufenthalt, die Medikamente und die Rehabilitation zu decken.
Für diesen caritativen Kreuzzug mit dem Titel "Quitémosle el Dolor a la Pame" - „Aktion Pamela - Ein Leben ohne chronische Schmerzen“ wurden zahlreiche Veranstaltungen durchgeführt. Bedauerlicherweise war es bis jetzt noch nicht möglich, das Geld aufzubringen, das Pamela für ihre Operation benötigt.

LET'S TAKE THE PAIN AWAY FROM PAME
Pamela Muñoz is a young woman of 39 years old, mother of 2 children, friend, singer and hairdresser full of life and desire to live. Since 2016 she lives daily with pain.
She has a very rare disease that has no cure, she is the only one in Chile and one of six people in the world who has been diagnosed with this disease.
Some of the sequelae of this disease are constant chronic neuropathic pain throughout her body and progressive loss of mobility in her legs, due to a venous malformation in her spinal cord (myelopathy due to capillary venous telangiectasia). The pain has become unbearable and is treated with Morphine patches that are no longer working. Pamela's body is deteriorating day by day, and it has become an ordeal to continue living in this condition.
Her disease cannot be cured, but her chronic pain can. She is a candidate for an expensive operation that consists of the implantation of a Neurostimulationkit in the spinal cord from Medtronic Company.
Unfortunately the health system in Chile does not cover this operation so she must raise the funds privately or the operation cannot be performed.
Our goal with this campaign is to raise 50 million Chilean pesos (about 62.000 USD and about 56.000 Euro) to cover the costs of the operation, hospitalization, medication and rehabilitation.
Many events have been held for this charity crusade called "Quitémosle el Dolor a la Pame" “Let's Take the Pain Away from Pam”. Unfortunately it has not been possible to raise the amount of money Pamela needs for her surgery.

QUITÉMOSLE EL DOLOR A LA PAME
Pamela Muñoz es una joven mujer de 39 años, madre de 2 niños, amiga, cantante y peluquera llena de vida y ganas de vivir. Desde el año 2016 ella convive a diario con el dolor.
Ella tiene una enfermedad muy rara que no tiene cura, es la única en Chile y una de seis personas en el mundo que ha sido diagnosticada con esta enfermedad.
Alguna de las secuelas que genera esta enfermedad es dolor crónico neuropático constante en todo su cuerpo y pérdida progresiva de movilidad en sus piernas, esto debido a una malformación venosa en su medula espinal (Mielopatía por Telangiectasia Capilar Venosa). El dolor se ha vuelto insoportable y es tratado con parches de Morfina que ya no están funcionando. El cuerpo de Pamela se deteriora día a día, y se ha vuelto un suplicio seguir viviendo en esa condición.
Su enfermedad no tiene cura, pero su dolor crónico sí. Ella es candidata a una costosa operación que consiste en la implantación de un Kit de Neuroestimulación en la médula espinal de la Firma Medtronic.
Lamentablemente el sistema de salud en Chile no cubre esta operación por lo que debe reunir los fondos de manera particular o la operación no puede ser llevada a cabo.
Nuestra meta con esta campaña es juntar 50 millones de pesos chilenos (unos 56.500 Euro, alrededor de unos 62.000 USD) para cubrir los gastos de operación, hospitalización, medicamentos y rehabilitación.
Muchos eventos se han realizado para esta cruzada de caridad llamada "Quitémosle el Dolor a la Pame". Lamentablemente no se ha podido reunir la cantidad de dinero que Pamela necesita para operarse.
