Running for their lives!

Last week (25 September 2022) I ran the Bristol Half Marathon; it was very last minute and I only entered it a few days before. Due to my own health issues I hadn't completed any training of any significance. Gosh that hurt and still does whilst I'm writing this. Next week is the London Marathon - I MUST BE MAD!!!!!

However, as many a bootneck (Royal Marine) or Royal Navy PT instructor has uttered, pain is only temporary and therefore, training or no training, I'm going to go ahead with the marathon to help raise money for the NSPCC.

Child abuse and cruelty can have a long-lasting impact on a child's or adult's life and over the years I've supported people very close to me through their resulting trauma.

Every donation will help National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children . Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
