Hi all. I’m Thomas Håkanson, a percussionist and Music Educator in Santa Barbara/Ventura area. Last night around 9:30, from what we understand at this time, someone was fleeing a scene of a crime, plowed directly into my van, and then took off on foot. The front driver side has caved in, damaging the engine, and the front passenger wheel has separated from the axle and the control arm.

Because of the severity of the accident, the car is likely totaled, leaving me without the ability to haul my instruments between gigs. I’m urgently in need of a replacement for it so I can keep working and getting gigs, which is why I’ve set this up. I’m currently looking at a few options for replacements, but most of them are in the $10k range used. If you have any amount of money that you can donate to this, it would be massively, massively appreciated.
