Hi - I’m the owner of Magnuson Cafe & Brewery and I am raising money to help one of our dedicated staff members, Luke (the tall blond guy!). He has been an original member of the team since Magnuson opened 3.5 years ago. Luke was waiting for the bus at Northgate around 10pm, headed home after working at the restaurant, and he was jumped by two guys who threw him to the ground kicking and hitting him in the head and body. Luckily a bystander with a concealed weapon permit stepped in and stopped the two from beating Luke further and stealing his belongings. Luke ended up with an open fracture in his jaw which means the bone broke through the root of his tooth and exposed the inside of his mouth. With the holidays he had to wait 8 days to see the surgeon, and is now awaiting his surgery.

Luke is a huge dog lover and for those of you who have brought your dog to the restaurant I guarantee Luke has stopped by to say hello to your dog and give them a treat.

Please help me show some love to Luke and support him with his surgery costs and help remove the financial burden and stress that this terrible incident has caused him.
