Oliver is a very special little boy who joined the Strode Family 1 year ago. He has Chronic Lung Disease, feeding tube, Cerebral Palsy and some other health issues. He was learning and growing every day and enjoying his family very much!
On January 2nd Oliver came down with a fever and cough. His oxygen needs increased so his mom took him to the pediatrician. He tested positive for RSV. The pediatrician immediately sent Ollie and his mom to Mary Bridge ER where he was admitted. Within 3 days Oliver became so sick he needed to be put on a ventilator. One day later the ventilator was no longer supporting him and the dr's told David and Sarah that the last resort for saving Oliver's life was ECMO Bypass.
Ollie is still on bypass and will be for some time.
Oliver's medical bills are covered, however the family could use some financial assitance with childcare, gas and Sarah missing work.
These are costs the family did not see coming and could use some support with.
