We are raising funds to help pay for a 2015 summer camp trip to "Emmanuel Camp" located at Alto Frio Baptist Camp & Conference Center.
Our inner-city youth will get to see the life-changing power of Jesus Christ through Biblical teachings in a manner that is relevant and practical. They will hear about the need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and the importance of growing in the Word of God.
Emmanuel Camp provides students the opportunity to declare their salvation, recommit their lives to the Lord and surrender to His service. Emmanuel Camp strives to develop students that are responsible, productive and successful Christian young people seeking the will of God.
This year the Emmanuel Camp experience will be July 20-24th. The camp theme is “REDEEMED” and it comes from Ephesians 1:7.
They will be led in worship by The Darnell Band, the main worship band at the South Campus of the Austin Stone.
Our students will not only get an opportunity to hear God’s word in the main session, but also in a breakout study each day. We will be blessed to have David Martin, the "I am Second" Student’s Director leading in these studies. He has a wonderful personal story and his ministry is reaching students all over the country.
There will be something special for our graduating Senior class this year, Joshua Fuentes, Associate Pastor at Second Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, TX will be leading them the entire week. He is an avid writer for YouthMin.org
There will be Four Concerts in ONE Week! Reach Record’s Trip Lee a 2 time Dove award nominee, Royal Tailor a 2 time grammy nominee, Dove award nominee, Abandon, and the worship leader’s, The Darnell Band.
