Hi everyone, I don’t usually do things like this but I wish to ask for your kindness and ask you to help not only myself but my family as well.

I have been dealing with epilepsy since I was a sophomore in high school. I am now a freshman in college and have still suffered countless seizures throughout the years. After many medications my doctors have suggested I get epilepsy surgery in order to hopefully mitigate the amount of seizures or possibly have them gone from my daily life.

My surgery is coming up soon and my situation is difficult since I won’t be covered by insurance the days after my surgery. I will be in the hospital for a couple of days and my family and I simply cannot afford the medical expenses that will come soon after I am discharged from the hospital.

I ask for your kindness and support for not only myself, but as well for my family during these upcoming weeks. Anything will help and we all truly appreciate your support.

Hola a todos, no suelo hacer cosas como esto, pero deseo pedirles su amabilidad y pedirles que me ayuden no solo a mí mismo, pero sino también a mi familia.

He estado lidiando con la epilepsia desde que he estado en mi segundo año de la secundaria. Ahora soy un estudiante de primer año en la universidad y todavía sufro convulsiones hasta hoy en día. Después de muchos medicamentos, mis doctores han sugerido que me someta a una cirugía de epilepsia para, con suerte, mitigar la cantidad de convulsiones o posiblemente hacer que desaparezcan de mi vida diaria.

Mi cirugía se acerca pronto y mi situación es difícil, ya que no estaré cubierto por el seguro los días posteriores a mi cirugía. Estaré en el hospital por un par de días y mi familia y yo simplemente no podemos pagar los gastos médicos que vendrán poco después de que me den el alta del hospital.

Le pido su amabilidad y apoyo no solo para mí, sino también para mi familia durante estas próximas semanas. Cualquier cosa ayudará y todos realmente apreciamos su apoyo.
