I know this is a long shot but I have to try. My brother is currently stationed in Fort Drum serving in the army. He needs help. A couple months ago a cat just showed up at his doorstep, possibly dumped. He and my sister in law started feeding her and were thinking about bringing her into their home. Unfortunately, last week she showed up all beat up. The vet thinks she was hit by a car. The poor thing stumbled back to my brothers home and is really rough shape. They had a hard time finding a vet that would take her with all of the covid stuff going on yet and some vets weren't taking new clients. After a long search they found someone who would see her. She had a broken jaw and some cuts and scrapes. The vet wired her jaw together, gave her pain meds and her shots. This cost my brother $1000. Unfortunately it was too late, the wound on her jaw was already infected. As a result her skin is started to fall off. My brother took her back to the vet and she had to be hospitalized. The vet said she will need a skin graft and more medication which will cost a few thousand. My brother cannot afford this. Luna is super sweet and only about a year old. My brother isn't ready to give up on her just yet. So I'm asking for any kind of help.
