An Update on Beth's Journey

A year and a half ago, we shared Beth's diagnosis with all of you, and the outpouring of love, prayers, and support was more than we could have imagined. We wanted to give you an update on where things stand.

Beth has continued to fight harder than anyone should have to. She's been through surgery to remove the cancer, chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy.

This month, we learned the cancer has metastasized. Thankfully, the doctors were able to get her into surgery right away, both to remove the new cancer and to fully replace her knee. She's now facing a long road of recovery ahead.

We're reopening this page because the medical bills, travel, and time away from work have continued to add up, and we know this next chapter of recovery will bring more of the same.

Our beloved Beth, my step-mom, is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She was recently diagnosed with rare stage-3 esophageal cancer and has begun treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Despite the challenges ahead, she remains in good spirits - staying positive, leaning on faith, and tackling this fight with incredible strength.
