Recently, I received the heartbreaking news that my brother passed away.

Over the years, we became distant as he struggled with mental disabilities and addiction, and life took us down very different paths. Despite that distance, he was still my brother and most importantly my first ever friend— and now, with the loss of my mother and grandmother already behind me, this is the loss of my last immediate family member.

When I received the call, I made the decision to take responsibility for his cremation and cemetery arrangements so he can be laid to rest with dignity and peace.

In addition to this fundraiser, I will also be making and selling pies (Hazel’s Table)to personally help contribute toward the expenses as much as I can.

I normally have a hard time asking for help, but during this difficult and emotional time, any donation or even simply sharing this fundraiser would mean more than I can express. EVERY contribution will go directly toward his cremation and final arrangements.
