Today I had to put my best friend in the whole wide world to rest. I’ve been the absolute luckiest dog mom having Jack in my life for almost 16 happy years, and I’m so thankful to the universe for bringing us together.

Unfortunately, about a year ago Jack was diagnosed with Old Dog Vestibular Disease. It was very scary, but we managed with medication and vet trips.. then about 7 months ago Jack was diagnosed with diabetes. That was even scarier, but again, we managed. More recently, Jack was diagnosed with epilepsy. The medications have helped keep the seizures at bay, but today he endured another painful grand mal seizure that he couldn’t bounce back from.

I feel weird asking for help, especially around the holidays, but I’ve been burying myself in a deep financial hole in order to keep him healthy. If you’re able to help, I greatly greatly appreciate it. If not, thank you for reading, being there, and loving Jack.
