I am 1 of 200 in the world with GLILD(Granulomatous & Lymphocytic Interstitial Lung Disease) A severe complication of CVID (Common Variable Immune Deficiency)

My journey started when I was 4 years old, I was diagnosed with Evan's Syndrome. It is a rare blood disorder that causes low platelets and anemia.

At age 16, I was diagnosed with CVID, which is another rare immune deficiency.

I'm 31 now, and the last year of my life has taken a toll on my lungs due to multiple hospitalizations for pnemonia. It was determined by my University of Michigan and Cleveland Clinic doctors that I wasn't going to get better. The last resort option for an improved, longer life is a double lung transplant. I have been advised to get it done sooner than later. I was told that the process is long and expensive, despite having insurance.
