My sweet boy Chico would not have survived if he did not have emergency surgery. He had swallowed a small piece of rubber about an inch in diameter, and it was stuck in his small intestine, causing him a lot of pain and his stomach to fill with fluids.

When they administered the nasogastric tube to remove the fluids from his stomach, he unfortunately regurgitated some of the liquid, and now has developed pneumonia. Upon listening to his lungs they realized his heart rate is unusually fast and after looking at his x-ray they noticed what appears to be fluid around the area. An ultrasound of his heart is scheduled first thing in the morning and then they will hopefully have a better understanding of his condition and how to treat him.

Chico is only 2 1/2 years old, he has so much life ahead of him, he helped me get through the death of my family by being there for me and showing me constant affection, he is seriously the sweetest most loving cat ever and he means the world to me.

Chico's medical bills are getting close to $15,000 and I am needing some extra help, I greatly appreciate any donation, prayers, and sharing.
