In 2024, I miscarried during the first trimester. In 2025, it happened again. No answers. No explanations. Just heartbreak. Silence. And pain that never truly goes away.

We held on to hope. We believed that with time, we would get to hold our child, hear their first laugh, see their first steps. But we’ve since learned that my fallopian tubes are completely blocked. The only way forward — the only chance we have at a successful pregnancy is IVF.

The grief is unimaginable. Every day I wonder who our babies would have been. Would they have my nose or his smile? What would their giggle sound like? Would they have been shy or wild and fearless? There is not a single moment that passes without that ache the ache of a mother and father with empty arms and a heart full of love with nowhere to go.

We’ve always worked hard. We’ve never been ones to ask for help. But IVF isn’t covered by our insurance. The full cost is $7,000 — a number that feels so far out of reach. We are humbly asking for help to finish saving for the $3,000 down payment required by CNY Fertility to begin treatment.

Our prognosis is actually a positive one and we have a strong chance of success. We just need help getting to the starting line.
