HELP JIM BEAT CANCER

Hi my name is Lisa , and I have started this campaign for two reasons.  My first is, I know they would not start one for themselves and two because they are the best people I have ever met. I met them 4 years ago and have been so blessed to have them in my life. I am a single Grandma raising two of my grandchildren alone. One is 7 the other is 10. The 10 year old boy is non verbal and autistic.  Patti and Jim have been an incredible help with him. Patti is like a mom to him she goes to his school and attends all meeting and teacher conferences. She even goes to his IEP meetings. They are an amazing couple and would give the shirts off there backs if someone was in need. Jim was diagnosed with colon cancer and has had 2 operations in the last month. He had thought it was his appendicitis , but after his surgeries found out his appendix is where it started. Appendicil cancer is rare . But the cancer had gone to his colon and seicom. They also found a  pheochromocytosis (also rare) on his adrenal gland. Which had to be removed before any other surgeries could be done.  So that he could survive the surgeries. After all this and everything removed they find he has stage 3 colon cancer that has traveled to the lymph nodes . He had not been able to work since October. As I know most of you know Patti has been out for 2&1/2 years with 6 surgeries. And still has not been released to go back to work. She will have one more surgery on the 25th of this month. I know there medical and everything else has to be overwhelming. But they both keep such great attitudes. Well God  Bless  all of you thanks for hearing my story
