Help Fund Miko's Leukemia Treatment

Friends, Miko needs your help! Miko is 10 years old, and she is Tracy Hamm's best buddy. About a month ago, Miko was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. She was completely healthy just 6 months ago, but the disease has moved very quickly. It has taken its toll: she has developed an arthritic spine and a hip injury following a decline in bone density. Fortunately, she has the right proteins, making this a treatable but not curable condition. Miko will need to be on chemotherapy pills for the rest of her life, and may or may not show improvement over time. One bright spot: she was recently approved for walks and frisbee time!


Miko's diagnosis, treatment, and meds are expensive. Just the blood test to diagnose leukemia was over $1,000! Please help Tracy keep Miko's treatment going. Whatever you feel you can contribute is greatly appreciated. Even a five or ten dollar donation helps.
