Earlier this week, we learned that our baby’s heart had stopped beating at 8 weeks and 3 days. Tomorrow, I’ll be going in for surgery to remove him, and it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced.

We’ve chosen to have pathology done to hopefully understand what went wrong, and then to have him cremated so we can bring him home and honor his short but deeply loved life.

Unfortunately, these costs weren’t something we could plan for — and between the surgery, pathology, and cremation expenses, we’re struggling to cover everything on our own.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to ask for help easing the financial burden so that we can focus on healing and giving our baby the goodbye he deserves. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:

• Pathology testing for our baby
