My name is Christine and I have taken care of my disabled parents for the last 25 years. I hate to ask to put this out there but, I am about to lose my house and then the custody of my parents. When I first started out wasn't working a good paying job so got Credit cards to assist with paying the bills and buying food and my parents at that time didn't have an income as they were not approved for disability, so it was all on me. After 25/26 years we get an opportunity to buy a house however because of the credit card situation I had to use their income as well, they pick up certain bills while I handle the bigger ones. Now they are 84 with dementia and 81 with severe health problems and if I have to put them in a home, I lose my house unless I can raise the full $60,000.00. I am starting off smaller so my heart will break a little if I don't make it. The full amount will be used to pay off the Credit card, the card and 2 loans I have had to take out. Doing this I will be able to pay for the house and the normal bills I have for daily life. I am praying for a miracle.
