Sarah's Place

Sarah’s Place is a project very near and dear to my heart. Inspired by my childhood friend Sarah, who has special needs, I see the need for a residence for adults with developmental disabilities in Durham Region. 

Sarah’s Place will be both a home for adults with developmental disabilities and a site for engaging day programs welcome to non-residents. Currently, group homes serving adults with special needs have incredibly long waitlists and I wanted to provide a much-needed service to our community and to my friend Sarah.
