A Heartbreaking Story of Gaza’s Children: Younes, Salahuddin, Amna, and Nada
In the heart of besieged Gaza, where all bridges connecting children to a normal life have been destroyed, four children from one family endure unbearable suffering.

Younes, 10 years old, used to dream of learning and growing up to become an engineer who would change his family’s fate. But today, he no longer knows what school means. The siege and bombardment destroyed his school, and there is nothing to teach him at home. Younes is starving; he can only find a small piece of bread made from leftover dried pasta that his mother dries to prevent them from starving. Every night, he falls asleep dreaming of a warm cup of milk, but he doesn’t know when that day will come.

Salahuddin, 7 years old, carries a broken heart. The constant sound of bombing and the fear and terror he lives in have deeply affected his psyche. He barely speaks; his words stutter and falter as if the words are running away from him in fear. He no longer smiles and lives in a silence filled with terror. He needs specialized psychological care but finds no one to support him—hospitals are closed or destroyed, and doctors have left or are unable to work.

Amna, the little girl who is 5 years old, has never known the taste of play or education. There are no open schools, not even temporary classrooms. She spends most of her time in a cold tent that contains only a few thin blankets. No good food, no milk—only hunger and dampness that moistens her small body and makes her shiver from cold and sickness. Her only dream is to smile again, but she no longer knows how.

And Nada, the infant who is a year and a half old, is the weakest of all. Her mother cannot breastfeed her due to severe malnutrition. Nada cries nonstop, trying to express her hunger and thirst, but no one hears her. Her little mind is stunted due to lack of food and care, and every passing minute is a risk to her fragile life.

In Gaza today:
No schools, no hospitals, no potable water, no electricity, no safety—only the cries of children and the smell of destruction everywhere.
These children are left alone to face hunger, fear, and darkness.

Will you send them life?
Donate to feed them, educate them, and seek a way to treat Salahuddin, so he can receive the psychological care he needs to live his childhood in peace and hope.
