Help me reach my dreams at Suffolk University.

Hello everyone. My name is Nicolas Giraldo. I am 19 years old and I am Colombian. Two years ago I came to the United States with the goal of studying at university. I recently graduated in June 2024 from Brighton High School, receiving an award for bilingualism. My dream college is Suffolk University, where I have worked for the past two years in food services, and where I completed a dual enrollment debate course during my senior year of high school. The photo on this page is of me and my fellow debaters in the dual enrollment course, during our final presentations at Suffolk.
Since coming to the United States, I have worked full-time at multiple jobs to support my family, while also completing rigorous studies at Brighton High School, learning a second language, and competing on the Brighton debate team with the Boston Debate League. Through the BDL, I competed at debate tournaments at Suffolk, as well as completing the debate course.
I feel like part of the community at Suffolk. Since working and taking classes at Suffolk, I have built wonderful relationships with food service workers, professors, students, and security staff. I feel that Suffolk will offer me a great educational opportunity for my career path of law. My aspiration is to become an immigration lawyer, to help other immigrants achieve their goals and dreams.
I have been awarded a merit-based scholarship of $21,000 from Suffolk, but still need to raise $27,000 to cover my tuition for next year. I would be very grateful if you could help me, even little by little.
