My name is Josh Martin I’m a 49 year old father of 7 kids (counting my beautiful boxer as one)! My dog was in our fenced in back yard minding her own business while I was gone taking my wife to the doctor for an important procedure!! Her name is Harley by the way!! My daughter took her outside with my grandson to use the bathroom and while she was in our back yard she was viciously attacked my 5 dogs! 4 small ones and one pit mix! They couldn’t stop them and they tore her lower gums and teeth completely from the bone and broke her lower jaw! I took her to the local animal hospital and he sowed her gums back to her lower skull and got the jaw bones touching where they were broken but informed me that she needed immediate surgery to pin her jaw back together or infection would set in the bone and more than likely kill her! Animal control went to the owner of the aggressive dog and told them all I wanted was for my dogs vet bill to be taken care of and they refused so we have a court date is August 26th but Harley can’t wait until then she needs this as soon as possible! The surgery will be between 3 to 5 thousand dollars to basically save my babies life and give her a better quality of life after this vicious attack! Please help us! We are also grieving the loss of my wife’s brother that was buried two weeks ago and 2 days after his funeral one of our sons was in a bad car wreck that completely broke his femur in half! Crushed his pelvis and ruptured his spleen causing it to be removed! Needless to say me and my family had been through a lot teh last few weeks and I know that a lot of people have it worse. We need help to save Harley ! Please help and to all that do god bless! To all that can’t afford too please pray for her and god bless you too! It would break the heart of my 5 year old grandson to loose his beloved protector!! We thank you all so much and I have been in tears seeing the people that have donated so far because that tells me that they are still good people in this world and they are so greatly appreciated and when me and my family get through these hard times I hope we can pay it forward and help someone that’s going through the same!
