My name is Brooklynn. I am 14 years old. I am an 8th grader and dance major at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. I auditioned for the internationally renowned Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive in Chicago and was accepted into their International Summer Dance Intensive, where the acceptance rate is around 20%.
The International Summer Dance Intensive at the Joffrey Academy of Dance is a five-week intensive designed for the serious ballet student, ages 12 and older, who is aspiring to a professional dance career.
This is an amazing opportunity and I would love to go but my family and I are struggling to come up with the tuition. The tuition is $2950. I am asking for sponsors to help me reach my goal.
I have been working very hard this year both in dance and academically. I dance atleast 4 hours a day. I am an assistant in the beginning level dance classes working with the young dancers at my school, demonstrating and helping lead class. I also teach dance and choreography for City Gospel Missions Princess program for inner city children and youth, a program I have been a part of for 7 years.
I Hope you find it in your heart to sponsor me and help me reach my goal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
