Hello again,
I am Jay and my story and timeline can be found at www.thegreatfowler.com
This is a GoFundMe with a twist ...
Any donations $500-5,000 can be paid back on a payment plan out of my $876 per month SSI.
Email me at JayFowlerOnline-gmail.com to discuss,.
I am currently under "home care" due to my dire heart issue, but might not have a home ...
SO HERE WE GO AGAIN.
I was supposed to be dead 4 years ago.
it is a story that has been told on Twitter, podcast and websites.
I make $876 per month on SSI, but through the incredible support I received online I have been able to survive in my "overtime".
I had a GFM, but deleted it last month.
Why?
Because I was honest about reaching my goal (even though donations were received from various other sources).
The goal would have got me through June without any emergencies.
I say June, because I came to an agreement with my landlord regarding my April 2024 lease renewal.
See, with income less than my rent and a horrendous credit score, finding an apartment that is safe and secure to live out my remaining days is near impossible.
Only possibility is paying upfront.
My landlord agreed to a deal, but his wife reneged due to them getting a 4 month summer rental at 3x my rent.
I live in a beach area, so summer rentals are insane.
So, I now need $5,000 (after GFM fees) to stay here and my rent is covered for the year.
If I don't hit the goal ASAP, I would need to make a similar deal elsewhere plus moving cost, etc.
I hate this with a passion, but I need a home (that is safe) to have home health care.
I can go on and on. but most are exhausted hearing my sad story so I will spare you.
Feel free to email me if you are interesting in helping.
If not ...
It has been a HELLUVA ride
