This year has been one for the books. Earlier this spring, I had a stroke and heart attack at the same time. Now, I'm undergoing heart surgery to address a congenital issue that may have led to the stroke. I've got some deficits on my left side, and I'm doing the work to establish a new normal for myself. The stroke has made things pretty complicated financially. It's hard to get a job given the issues with my vision and mobility.
