What if there was a love that had no boundaries? What if people ran into, instead of away from, the darkest places on the earth? What if Christians were truly transparent and fearless because of the God who loves? ... Can you help me do and see exactly this?
My name is Elsa Esther Goodsell. I am a college student at Christ For The Nations Institute (CFNI). In a few months I will be going to Pemba, Mozambique (East Africa) for a three month missions training called field school. This training has been made possible through a partnership that CFNI has formed with Iris Global (previously Iris Ministries). This is a holistic ministry that began in 1980 with Heidi and Roland Baker- who started out with small evangelistic street drama teams to Asia on short-term mission trips and who have now been missionaries for thirty years.

What will this school be for:
- To go on extended evangelistic outreaches to the local bush (wild country) areas.
- To work with children at the orphanage near the base.
- To gain understanding on how to effectively be love across cultures (I say "be" because love looks like something).
- To get practically equipped for the physical challenges of third-world nations.
- And much more!
I will be a student of Iris Harvest School of Missions in Pemba, Mozambique from June 1, 2015 - August 4, 2015. This is one of the greatest opportunities of my life. I realize that and am amazed that I have this chance. I must raise $6,500 by April 20, 2015. I know I can't do it alone. I can't do it on my own. It is something I have dreamed with God about. So I want to do my best, right now that is in inviting you to be a part of this dream and you can do so by giving. Would you take part in helping me, through prayer and financial support, to complete my field training?
For any way that you choose to support me, thank you. Please pray for me to stay encouraged, and to have a whatever it takes attitude. I need to be covered by the grace of God.
