Recovery Fund

As most know, my brother in law Bruce is currently fighting for his life at Washington Medical Center in DC. He has been on life support since Dec 14 when he went into cardiac arrest and was down for more than an hour.  He is currently on a bypass machine (ECMO) that is beating for his heart. He is on a ventilator to help him breath. His lungs are good, but he needs the ventilator to help oxygenate his blood as his heart can not. His platelets are up to 47, but need to be at least 50 (low end) before ECMO can be stopped, but it can't be stopped until his heart is better. His heart won't get better until he has surgery, but he can't have surgery until he's off ECMO. He can't get off ECMO because his hearts too weak. 

My sister is sitting with him day and night, only coming home every few days. They wont allow her to shower at the hospital and it takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours to get home and back (dependent on traffic).

Bruce and Lisa are without his income. The extra costs of running to DC is taking its toll on Lisa as well as the stress of what to do with little to no money coming in. On top of all this, they are currently renting and were told 2 weeks before Bruce got sick, they had to be moved out by Feb 1. So now, they have to find a place to live. 

They could both use all the help you can give. If you cant give monetarily, prayers are greatly appreciated.
