Pancreas transplant

Hello everyone, if you are seeing this it would be greatly appreciated. I am a 16 year old named Alexandru Croitor suffering from diabetes a autoimmune disease and alongside that I also have asthma, celiac disease. I was also recently diagnosed with severe depression because of my autoimmune diseases. I want to explain a little bit of what I need to be done to stop suffering. If your pancreas doesn't make enough insulin, blood sugar levels can rise to unhealthy levels, resulting in type 1 diabetes. Most pancreas transplants are done to treat type 1 diabetes. A pancreas transplant offers a potential cure for this condition. But it is typically reserved for those with serious complications of diabetes because the side effects of a pancreas transplant can be significant. The overall one-year patient survival rate was 91 percent, and the one-year insulin-independent rate (graft functional survival) was 70 percent in the U.S. Five years after surgery, patient survival is 78 percent and pancreas survival is 60 percent. I wanted to let you guys all know that celiac disease is an immune reaction to eating gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. Over time, the immune reaction to eating gluten creates inflammation that damages the small intestine's lining, leading to medical complications. It also prevents absorption of some nutrients (malabsorption). My pancreas transplant is only one thing I need to stop suffering. Also a gluten free diet means spending more money on foods and goods you can eat. My most recent hospitalization was because I got tested positive for COVID-19. My mom rushed me to the hospital because I had a 103.5 fever and was coughing my lungs out. I was put on oxygen. I was in the hospital for a total of 9 days. COVID-19 has affected me from doing normal day to day tasks. I've been recovering very well. Please anything will help on the road to a new pancreas.
