Hi Everyone! For those of you who know anything about uterine fibroids, you might be able to relate to what I've been going through these past several years. For those of you unfamiliar, uterine fibroids are benign cysts which grow in the uterus in about HALF of women over 40. Yes HALF. Often, they just keep growing...and there's nothing left to do but remove the uterus. That is what I am having done on March 9th.

There have been times I have been at work or just standing there having a conversation and I will suddenly buckle over in pain. Its embarrassing. Uterine fibroids not only cause severe bleeding but also tremndous pain in the joints, lower back and muscles. I have had to take time off of work and with several more weeks of recovery following my surgery, I am falling way behind with expenses. It is my hope to raise about $3000 to help bridge the gap until I am back on my feet and working again.
