MRI for Bear

Hi everyone, my name is Lia Diaz. I created this post because my dog's health has significantly declined in the last few weeks because of what was thought to be an unbearable pain coming from the upper region of his body. His name is Bear, he is a French Bulldog, and he is only four years old. After countless vet visits, we have concluded that surgery is potentially needed in order for him to progress from this, as he has a slipped disc deriving from IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). It is a common disease found in dogs with a similar spine as his that develops after time and could be triggered by an injury. Unfortunately, the procedure does not guarantee the same quality of life and is the route we would like to avoid; however, an MRI will allow us to see where the disc slipped and allow for the proper administration of a series of steroid shots. Ultimately, the fees for all of this, specifically the MRI, are quite high and not easy for a twenty-two-year-old to handle alone. Anything, whatsoever, is so very much appreciated, and I thank you in advance.
