My cat Mocha is 5 years old and is the sweetest most beautiful cat.  She is my heart and my cat soul-mate.  she has a loving temperment and loves to cuddle.  As a kitten I would go to sleep and wake up in  the morning to find her sleeping on my chest.  I can't imagine life without her.   A while ago she started limping.  I took her to the local vet 2 times and was given medicine. The vet thought she may have strained something.  She seemed to get better but once the meds wore off she was limping again.  took her back to the vet, got another round of meds with the same result.  The vet thought it was a hip or knee injury . Finally had x-rays done which showed problem was with her ankle.  I took her to angel Memorial Hopital yesterday for a consult with the surgeon.  She has a soft tissue sarcoma and needs to have her leg amputated.  The doctor feels her prognosis is good once the leg comes off.  I am a single mom on a fixed income with no way to pay for this. The estimate for the surgery is about $3000.  i qualify for $1000 in financial help so need to raise $2000.  I hate having to ask for help and those that know me know it's not something I would normally do but I can't afford this on my own.  Every little bit would help and words could never express how grateful I would be if anyone can help me get her the care she needs.  This cat is very special to me and my family and has gotten me through some pretty tough times.  I can't lose her to an illness that can be fixed.  She is special and deserves to live a long and healthy life which she can have if special people help her to have it.   It breaks my heart to see her like this.  Thank you for considering this cause.  Please share this post with anyone you know that may be willing to help.
