Dr said my wheelchair failed need at this point

Hi Everyone, I had a Dr's appointment a few months ago; because SBMA is a slow progression I was able to use a standard power wheelchair for a good 25 years; that time is now passed, when I fall/slip to the floor I usually land well, but I still have to call 911 to pick me up, 4 times now, it's getting harder to transfer from wheelchair to bed, I no longer have strength to lift my legs into bed, this new wheelchair has power leg lift so transfer board can work safely, and if/when I do end up on the ground the leg lift can scoop me up off the ground, EMS has better things to do then picking me up, the good thing is that Insurance covers most of the cost, but my Co-Pay is still too much, $5,500. just for the wheelchair..

Now I also have a 2nd major problem: also because of legs going south, driving had begun becoming dangerous, I need Hand Controls to safely stop when needed; the bad part is nothing is covered by any insurance, actual hand controls cost $1,500 Not Covered, and PA DOT requires that I be Re-Tested for Hand Controls, Still, to Re-Test I have to have a 3 day training class. the training assistance has to be with me during the Re-Test; they charge $2,000 whichis is Not Covered by any type of Insurance, the Dr Appointment just set me back $9,000. I have some to cover but still need to do this Go Fund Me page. yes I need to drive. I'm the person that drives my 91 year old mother to do her shopping and I want to keep Mom Safe.
