I've never done a fundraiser before but I'm finally in a position where I just can't make it on my own. On Christmas night I escaped a dangerous & abusive situation with myself, my dogs, and not much else. I'm crashing at a friend's house for now, and planning on getting my apartment's locks changed and moving back in (temporarily) on Feb 1.
I set up this fundraiser because I need help covering rent for a few months as I suddenly will be covering all the apartment's expenses on my own until I can move. I probably won't get my deposit back due to damage, and I'll need a deposit on a new place as I need to move to some place different ASAP. I also need some basic survival and comfort items while I'm at my friend's.
