Our family has known Heidy for approximately 8 years when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which is non-operable. She has been a great mother to 3 beautiful girls: Monse (13), Crystal (11), and Andrea (8), a wife to Marco, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Throughout her battle she has remained postive, strong, and hopeful for the love of her family. She remained independent throughout this long journey and  even on her toughest days was deteremined to get through the day without a complaint but instead very grateful for everything she had. Her sincerity, humbleness, and kindness is as infectious as can be.  Since August 2015 Heidy has significantly declined with right hemiplegia, blurred vision, difficulty with speaking and swallowing. She recently had invasive chemo treatment, unfortunately it did not change the status of the tumor. The doctors have reported there is nothing more they can do for her and therefore, the decision has been made to start hospice. We are hoping through this fundraiser to grant her wishes, financially assist the family with funeral expenses, and provide financial guideance for her daughter's future. Heidy's family and friends are so appreciative of any additional assistance that can be provided, even if it means sending a prayer our way. Prayers always welcomed.
