Donate to Support Jeff Stramel's Cancer Battle

Jeff Stramel takes on many roles, as husband, son, brother, friend, band member, Evergy colleague and now CANCER FIGHTER. Jeff has been a tremendous advocate for others during their time of need and now needs our support. In September, Jeff Stramel (34) was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. Several MRIs and biopsies revealed he has Diffuse Large B Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (DLBCL) in the bones of both legs.

With this devastating and unexpected news comes unexpected expenses. Jeff is a strong, independent, and fierce fighter who is not one to ask for help. Jeff is the sole provider of the single income household. He plans to continue working all he can while undergoing treatments. No one can ever be prepared for the financial burden from Cancer. During this long journey he will undergo many additional procedures: Echocardiogram, PET scans, CT scans, MRIs, Surgery and soon will start chemotherapy treatments for the next 18-20 weeks. In light of this, we are reaching out to ask for your support. The Evergy REACH Program at Jeff's work will generously match dollar for dollar up to $5,000 for any donations made to assist Jeff. These funds will be used to cover costs related to his treatments, prescriptions, travel expenses, equipment and any other medical cost that is not covered by insurance.
