Good Sunday friends and family,
This GoFundMe is not something that I take lightly. There was a grease fire on the second floor in my last apartment that caused the sprinklers to flood and destroyed my previous studio. This dislocated me back to Charlottesville. Since December of 2019, I have had to take a medical leave from VCU as a senior due to my disabling medical conditions and new diagnosis of osteonecrosis in both of my hips. 1/3 of the blood supply has been cut off to my hips and I am barely able to sleep let alone work. I have applied for disability and am praying I get a good decision, however the process moves slow. Since I had to take a medical leave of absence from Virginia Commonwealth University, I have no money. I only have two months of rent left and disability can take up to six months. That is why I am, with a heavy heart, requesting for up to 3 months of rent money to retain financial stability while I pray and wait on uncle Sam to approve or deny my disability claim. I need help--please share this if you cannot donate. Given my economic circumstances, I completely understand. However a share helps just as much as $1 does. Love from my home to yours, thank God my service dog Aria and I were not home during the grease fire and sprinkler flood.
