My Olympic Dream

Hello, My name is Allan Shihman and I am 14 years old.
I started this go-fund me page to help me with my dream of one day representing my country in the Olympics. In order to pursue my dream, I need to raise $2,000 to attend the U.S. Junior Olympics Water Polo Games this summer in California.
I began playing water polo 3 years ago at YPRO water pole club in Brooklyn, N.Y. and immediately fell in love with the sport. Two years ago my parents made the decision to relocate to South Florida. I stressed to my parents how much I wanted to continue playing water polo, as I had worked hard at it and had become quite a good player.
My parents enrolled me at the South Florida Water Polo Club where I currently play as well as on my school team at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL where I am an “A” Honor Student.
Daily practices and numerous competitions taught me to learn how to deal with various difficult situations and the ability to both win and lose. However, the most valuable lessons I learned throughout the years of being a water polo team player is the respect, hard work, and the amount of heart you need to play with.
I am highly motivated and determined not to give up on my Olympic Dream and I am asking for your generous donations to help make my dream come true!
