Hello my name is Anthony, my wife is Sarai, and we have two wonderful kids a one year old boy and a bright 4 year old girl. A few weeks ago we were in a car accident (the children are fine thanks God) our only car not so much. We pay monthly for car insurance like everyone in New York but our insurance refuses to help. Our mechanic ask insurance to send someone to see damage so that they wouldnt total it, asked to storage car until they can get someone to shop and not charge a fee, ask what is the lowest price they would pay out on the claim so that he can repair it (going lower then what he quoted), we ask to buy car from salvage lot from settlement to then repair it and in all cases we were told no. We have spoken to the claims agent, the agent's supervisor. And the supervisor of the supervisor but they still refuses to repair our car. They want to total the vehicle which will leave us with no car and paying off a debt on a vehicle we do not have. We are asking for help to repair our car out of pocket. I have been layoff until things start opening up 100% due to the fact that I have multiple sclerosis (MS) and due to my neuro doctor requests, shouldn't risk my health with covid-19. My wife is working from home but it's just not enough to make the repairs in a timely manner. Our mechanic is working with us but the car will stay in his car until the bill is paid in full. Anything you can give to help us get our vehicle which we use to visit our parents, take kids/myself to doctor appointments, go to church and for errands we will greatly appreciate. God bless you.
