When the Music Stops

Hello, my name is Lamont Leak. For the past decade, I've had the opportunity to work behind the scenes in Hollywood starting as a Production Assistant to Producer and now I'm stepping out to tell my own stories.

Inspired by Story Tellers like Kenon Ivory Waynes, Tyler Perry,  Robert Townsend, Spike Lee and Issa Rae, I have a new project that allows me to create with many of the talented industry veterans I've met on my journey. 

I am so excited to present "When The Music Stops"
This is a feature film that explores the life of two young Black creatives that decide to leave their hometown and go after something that can many times be so elusive... their dreams.



Why This Story? 

People need motivation. Rather you're an inspiring Artist or the Authur with a world of stories inside you. This film is for you.  We'll have something inside us that's bigger than us that at times we struggle to birth into the world. This story is designed to show you what happens when you push past your breaking point, remembering to never let the music stop.
