HELP US SAVE JACK, OUR BEAUTIFUL BORDER COLLIE BOY!

Hello, my name is Annette and my partner Steve, and we are desperately needing some help to save our beautiful border collie, Jack.
Jack started limping and now will not even bear weight on his leg. We have already had x-rays of his elbow, wrist and paws along with his hip and shoulder.
Our vets have diagnosed him with septic arthritis possibly caused by an infection via a torn dew claw. He is currently being treated with antibiotics, but they are not working, and the vets have explained he requires a full flush of his joints. We've been advised that this procedure has a 99% success rate, but we've also been advised is estimated to cost up to $6000.
We do not want to lose Jack as he is an exceptional dog, and we love him wholeheartedly. Jack is only 7 years old, and he is my shadow, my confidant, my companion and best friend. Many times, he has cheered me up when times have been tough.
Jack has a canine companion Jill, who is 9 years old and also a Border Collie. Jill had a hard start to her life and was a rescue, has Lupus DLE and requires ongoing medication. She is very nervous alone and relies on Jack in her life to keep her feeling safe and ease her anxiety.
The cost-of-living crisis has unfortunately hit us hard, and we only recently cancelled Jack and Jills pet insurance as we could no longer afford it. Had we known this would happen a few weeks later, we would have never cancelled it and feel incredibly guilty we had to choose at the time. Having nearly exhausted our vet pay option on his treatment so far, we are now in a desperate situation as Jack needs this operation as soon as possible and the cost must be paid upfront. We are proud people and would not normally ask for this help, but our boy means the world to us.
We have $1000 left on our vet pay and are hoping to raise the $5000 extra needed to get Jack the operation and care he needs to relieve his pain. We understand times are tough for everyone, every dollar counts and is hard to spare. Jack is a much-needed member of our family, and we do not want to lose him when this operation can save his life.
If you can contribute anything at all, we would be incredibly grateful. We just want our boy Jack happy and comfortable once more.
Thank you,
Annette, Steve, Jack and Jill.
