Support Shawn's Journey to Stability

Hi. My name is Shawn. My Papa passed the day after Thanksgiving 2 years ago. After staying in the house where I took care of him for about 10 years, my family and I sold the house and split the money 3 ways. It gave me enough to buy a mobile in a very Hallmark Channel type little town. It's the very first home I've ever owned and I want my Papa to be able to be at peace with where I'm headed in life, as he'd always wanted. I moved in with my fiance just before Christmas last year.

A few months ago, things between us changed very abruptly, and she left with her new girlfriend and later moved to NC. The house was in total disarray, and I was left to put it all back together. At the time, as well as now, I'm recovering from a severely broken elbow and looking at a possible second surgery due to an inherited bone disease. So, I haven't really been able to do much to make the home presentable for a potential roommate. I know it sounds like excuses, but really, it's not. I've just pushed myself as far and fast as I could, and I'm now physically paying for it, with time very much running out.

I'm on state assistance and receive $450 a month and have well over $2,500 worth of bills and past due payments left by my ex, as well as trying to come up with something to keep both my dog and the dog she left behind fed and get back into the black and get my home ready to bring in a roommate and start really creating a place to live out the rest of my life. I don't normally ask for help, but I don't know where else to turn. So please, anything would help. Thank you and God bless.
