Gina McReynolds Foundation

The Gina McReynolds Foundation was set up in January 2012 by a group of friends to help raise money for Gina's trips to and from MD Anderson in Houston.  When the friends approached Gina about it, she said she would only except money from them if they would also help other families who are fighting breast cancer.  Gina lost her battle with breast cancer on June 29, 2012.   The foundation helped with many bills, but the main thing it did was grant her last wish which was to pass away in Florida with her friends and family by her side.  The Gina McReynolds Foundation helped find and secure a medical flight from Houston to Orlando to grant Gina that last wish.  Gina left behind her husband and three young children.  Today the foundation has helped 12 other families who are fighting breast cancer and have young children just like Gina did.  Please visit the foundations new website www.teamgina.org to read Gina's story and some of the stories of the families we have helped.  This year the foundation board decided to set up a challenge and see which board member can raise the most money between now and April 1st.  I am asking everyone who sees this to make a donation to the foundation and help support a women who is fighting breast cancer.  Help remove the financial burden cancer causes so they can enjoy watching their children grow up.  Share this with as many people as you can to help raise awarness for what we do.  Together we can raise a lot of funds so that the Gina McReynolds Foundation will be able to help many more families in the future!!!
