Nick Major has been a valued Instructor of Cascadia Martial Arts for many years.  Nick is kind, works hard, and  has built caring relationships will all his students. Nick and his family need our support right now, as Nick is very ill, in hospital. Currently, he is in the ICU at St. Pauls Hospital, in Vancouver.
Nick has a condition known as  Myelitis, which is causing swelling on his spinal chord and lower part of the brain. He is on life support because his lungs are filled with fluid and can't breathe by himself. Over the next several days, doctors will be doing a plasma infusion treatment, which is taking out his plasma from his blood and putting in new healthy plasma. They are hoping this will help.
We want to raise funds to help Nick and his family during this difficult time. Nick's family is unable to work, as they are by his side. We would like to help cover expenses such as hotel, food, and lost wages.
