Help a Teacher Overcome Financial Hardship

Hi all - our children’s teacher had her partner taken by ICE this week and is awaiting deportation. They have been together for almost 20 years. It’s been devastating for her. Due to not being legally married, she is not allowed any contact with him. She is unimaginably worried and in shock still. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do to help him stay here in the US, but we can help her get on her feet financially. Her husband is the main provider in her home, so this is very tough on her to pay her rent and day-to-day bills. Our goal is to help her get on her feet financially for the next couple of months and not have to add the worry of money.

She is an amazing teacher who treats her students as her own children. She always thinks of them and is always finding ways to make them smile. If you can donate anything to her (even $1), she would greatly appreciate any help while she gets through this difficult time.
