I have never thought I would be the one to be asking for help. However the circumstances that my has been and I find ourselves in has led me to give this a try.
On December 13, 2015 my husband and I flew in to Las Vegas to have a few days to visit before Christmas. Our residence is in California, but he has been working in Ohio for several years it was apparent when we arrived that he was not feeling well, and by Tuesday evening December 15 it became necessary for me to call the desk of our hotel and ask them to send an ambulance. He was taken to one of the local hospitals here and admitted with several diagnosis, including pneumonia, bronchitis, a possible pulmonary embolism , and a apparent cardiac issues. Luckily for him, I requested a cardiac consult and a cardiologist came onboard. Further examination revealed that he had five arteries blocked, one of them being 100%, and fur reportedly 99% blocked.
At this time we are still in Las Vegas and he is still in the hospital. I have had to find hotel housing the entire time that I've been here. He is currently in ICU as he had to go back there if you days ago and is not yet released from that area to the step down unit. Although we have insurance, I am not sure what our share of cost is going to be. I can well imagine it will be way more than what I'm hoping to get with this Gofundme post, but at this time my initial needs are for housing costs I am incurring, food, and a little clothing I have had to purchase since I initially came prepared for four days.
I have also had a rental car since December 13, and the fees for that are adding up. It will be necessary to pay a one-way fee for a car rental to return to California as my husband won't be able to fly. I have to rent oxygen and may have to stop one night over night to allow him to get in bed and rest, then continue to our residence the following day . Once home I am going to have to hire someone to stay with him for some time periods as I go to my medical appointments and physical therapy for recovery from my fourth spinal surgery last July.
I will be forever grateful for any help that I may receive. And if I receive nothing, I have it at least had all the prayers and well wishes of my personal friends and that has meant a lot.

Due the fact I have had no ability work for a year and a half due to having two spinal surgeries , and the fact that my husband's work involves contracting his services where he works, therefore earning nothing since December 11, 2015, we have very limited income now .
