Flores Vega Family Support After A Residence Fire
Donation protected
On Sunday, November 18th, there was a fire in the Flores Vega residence just after midnight. Their mom woke up to smoke filling the bedroom and when she opened the door, she discovered a fire outside the bedroom. Unable to get to the front door because of the flames, her only option was to get her two young children (ages 7 and 15 months) outside through a second story window. She quickly tied blankets and sheets around her young boys and lowered them out the window one by one before jumping out of the second story window herself.
The three of them were taken to the hospital, treated, and released. Her husband and her oldest son (age 15) were not in the home at the time of the fire. At this point, everyone is doing as well as can be expected, but the fire destroyed almost everything they had, including their home. The Flores Vega family would never ask for help, but in their greatest moment of need, we are hoping that the Puyallup community will come together to support them during this very challenging time.
We have created this GoFundMe to help the Flores Vega family with expenses incurred as a result of this devastating fire. Thank you for your support!
