I’m starting this fundraiser for my neighbor’s sweet dog, Dolly. She’s the kind of pup who brings joy to everyone she meets. Recently, during a lightning storm, Dolly got scared and ran off. After being missing for a whole day, she finally made it back home—but sadly, she came back injured.

We rushed her to the vet, and the news broke our hearts: Dolly needs urgent surgery on her leg if she’s ever going to walk and play normally again. The surgery costs around $8,000, which is more than her family can afford on their own.
