On the morning of July 9th, 2024, Jake and Danielle Perez lost their home in an electrical fire. While Jake and Danielle were able to escape with two of their dogs, tragically their border collie Kaile was lost to the fire. Their home suffered significant fire, smoke, and water damage and is currently unlivable.

With Danielle's permission, myself and her other teammates with Hairier Jump Jets flyball club are establishing this GoFundMe to help the Perez family cover any out-of-pocket costs related to housing, replacement of personal supplies, and veterinary support and general care for their other two dogs, Vale and Houston. Any donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated and will be distributed directly to the Perez family.
